Webmail lets you check and send email from your GrabbyHost mailbox using just a web browser, with nothing to configure. It's a handy option when you're on a computer where you don't want to set up a mail app, or when you need quick access to a message on the go.

What Is Webmail?

Webmail is a browser-based email client that connects directly to your mailbox on the server. Since it runs entirely online, there's no setup required and you can access it from any device with a browser and internet connection.

How to Log In to Webmail

To access your webmail:

  1. Open your browser and go to yourdomain.com/webmail (replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain). If your domain isn't pointed to GrabbyHost yet, you can also log in using the server hostname or IP address shown in your welcome email, followed by /webmail.
  2. Enter your full email address (e.g. you@yourdomain.com) as the username.
  3. Enter your mailbox password. This is the password you set when the email account was created, not your WHMCS client area password.
  4. Click Login.

Choosing a Webmail App

After logging in, you may be asked to choose a webmail application. GrabbyHost's cPanel-based hosting typically offers a choice of:

  • Roundcube – a modern, easy-to-use interface, recommended for most users.
  • Horde – includes extra tools like a calendar, tasks, and notes alongside email.

You can switch between apps at any time from the webmail login screen. Your emails, folders, and contacts are shared across all of them since they connect to the same mailbox.

Troubleshooting

If you can't log in, double-check that you're using the full email address as the username and the mailbox password (not your client area password). If you've forgotten your mailbox password, you or your hosting account administrator can reset it from cPanel under Email Accounts.
