cPanel Features Guide: Everything You Can Do in cPanel

cPanel is the control panel used on most GrabbyHost hosting accounts to manage your website, email, files, databases, and security — all from one dashboard. Our "Getting Started with cPanel" guide covers logging in and a quick tour; this guide goes further and lists every feature available, organized the same way cPanel organizes them.

Files

• File Manager – Upload, download, edit, rename, move, extract, and delete your website's files directly from the browser.
• FTP Accounts – Create additional FTP logins with access limited to specific folders, useful for developers or contractors.
• Backup / Backup Wizard – Download a full or partial backup of your account, or restore your home directory, databases, and email forwarders/filters from a previous backup.
• Disk Usage – See a breakdown of what's using space in your account, folder by folder.
• Directory Privacy – Password-protect specific folders on your site.
• Git™ Version Control – Create and manage Git repositories directly on your hosting account.
• Images – Basic tools to view, scale, convert, and thumbnail images stored in your account.

Databases

• MySQL Databases – Create databases and database users, and manage the privileges between them.
