Your Cloud VPS has its own management dashboard, separate from the usual GrabbyHost client area service page. Get there via Services > [your VPS service] > Manage Server. This guide walks through every tab.

Overview

Server status (online/offline), IP address, backup status, and region at a glance, plus a detailed panel with hostname, region, size (for example s-4vcpu-8gb), operating system, IPv4, IPv6, private IP, and creation date. Below that, live CPU and network (in/out) usage graphs for the last 24 hours, and an Activity sub-tab logging recent actions taken on the server.

Setting > Power

Basic power controls: Power On, Graceful Shutdown, Reboot, and Power Cycle (a hard reset, useful if the server is unresponsive to a graceful reboot). Current power status is shown at the top of the tab.

Setting > Access

Shows your root username and password for SSH login. There's no direct "reset password" button here – if you need a new password, use Rebuild instead (see below), which erases the server first. This tab also lets you rename your server's hostname, and shows IPv6 status (once enabled, IPv6 cannot be disabled).

Setting > Rebuild

Replaces the server with a fresh install of an operating system or application image you choose from a list (AlmaLinux, CentOS Stream, Debian, Fedora, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, and specialized GPU/AI-ready images, among others). This erases all data on the server and cannot be undone – use it when you want a clean start or have lost root access, not as a routine maintenance step. A new root password is generated automatically and shown once when the rebuild finishes, so save it immediately.

Setting > Requests

A log of pending and past requests for actions that require GrabbyHost admin approval before they take effect – specifically resizing, creating a snapshot, and toggling backups. If one of those actions seems to be taking a moment, check here for its status.

Security > Backups

Automated recurring backups of the whole server. Enabling backups adds a recurring charge to the service and requires admin approval before it takes effect.

Security > Snapshots

A snapshot is a full point-in-time copy of your server that you can rebuild from later. Snapshots are billed per GB of storage while they exist and require admin approval to create; detaching or deleting your own snapshot is free and stops the recurring charge immediately. Give each snapshot a descriptive name (for example "Before major update") so you can find the right one later.

Networking > Domains

Manage DNS records for any domain pointed at GrabbyHost's nameservers, directly from the VPS dashboard. This is free – there's no charge for domains or records added here.

Networking > Reserved IPs, Firewall & PTR Records

Reserved IPs let you hold a static IP address that stays with your account even if you rebuild or resize the server. The Firewall is free to enable or disable at any time – disabling it detaches the firewall but keeps your configured rules ready for next time, so you don't have to rebuild them if you turn it back on. PTR Records let you set reverse-DNS for your server's IP, useful for mail servers and some compliance checks.

Volumes

Extra block storage you can attach to your server to increase its available space, independent of the server's built-in disk. Adding a volume bills a prorated amount immediately; detaching or deleting a volume you own is free; increasing a volume's size later requires admin approval.

Upgrade

Shows your server's current size and lets you resize to a larger plan when one is available. Resizing is a billed change and requires admin approval – once approved, the server is briefly powered off while it resizes, then powered back on automatically.

Good to Know

Several actions here – resizing, snapshots, and enabling backups – go through an admin-approval queue rather than applying instantly, since they change what you're billed. If you don't see a change reflected right away, check the Requests tab before opening a support ticket.
